NHL Safety Net

In 2002, The National Hockey League mandated protective netting behind both goals in all NHL arenas. Rhino Rigging designed and installed protective netting systems for arenas across the country. The Rhino system uses a custom rolled and joined pipe to exactly match the curve of the dasher walls. When not in use, the netting is gathered on the pipe and raised to the ceiling. Electric hoists are used to raise and lower the system making changeovers efficient and reducing labor costs.
